Clear Expectations is the brainchild of Arwen McGilvra, a 13-year veteran of adolescent and childcare programs. They have ranged from drug treatment and rehabilitation to after-school child care and teaching art to mentoring teenage girls. Arwen puts her experience and over 300 hours of training in child care and development into this helpful blog and classes, designed for parents and childcare providers.

She sits on the board for Oregon Women for Ag and the Albany Public Library. Currently she volunteers for Oregon Agriculture in the Classroom, Children’s Programs at the Library, and in her local school.

Arwen is also The Tech Chef, serving local small businesses, non-profits and agriculture as a social media consultant, content manager, developer and freelance tech support specialist.
